1. How can I sign-up for Njoi? 

You can purchase the Njoi service via the following options:
i) Fill up the online form.
ii) Visit the nearest Astro retailer.

2. How much does the Njoi set-up cost?

The set-up, which comprises of a set-top box, Out-Door Unit (ODU) satellite dish, smartcard and remote control unit is available at a one-time payment of RM328 (new unit) or RM228 (refurbish unit) at all Astro authorised retailers, with a standard installation fee of RM 100 from an Astro authorised installer.

3. How many channels are offered in Njoi?

At launch, 22 TV and 20 radio channels will be available. These channels will comprise of various genres including education, information and entertainment in multi languages.

4. Is there a warranty for Njoi?

There will be a 12 month warranty for Njoi set-top box, satellite dish and remote control unit, subject to the standard terms and conditions. Installation works will carry a standard 6 month warranty.

5. If I have a faulty remote control unit (post-warranty), where can I get a replacement unit?

You can walk into any of our customer service center and pay via credit card to obtain a new remote control unit on the spot. For all other payment mechanisms, you will have to show proof of payment to obtain a new remote control unit.

6. Do I have to pay for installation?

Standard installation fee of RM 100 by an Astro authorized installer will apply.

7. How long does it take to install my Njoi service?

Installation will take approximately 14 working days from the date of sign-up to fulfill. Our Astro authorized installer will contact you to make an appointment for installation at your premise.

8. Do I have to be a current Astro subscriber to apply for Njoi services?

No, you do not. Njoi service is available to everyone. This is part of Astro’s aspiration to make information, education, entertainment, and sports available to all Malaysians.

9. Will Media Prima channels be included into the channel lineup for Njoi?

Media Prima channels are not included in the lineup for Njoi at the moment.
